I think they were already there from before, although I suppose they might have a super pass. I emailed brian harmer to remind him about those.David Barrish wrote: ↑Thu Jun 18, 2020 9:03 am Yes, I see that but the registration for the PRO opened up on 6/17/2020 and two participants did register for JA.
Might be a miscue, no?

Re: Junior Karts running this weekend, are they?
The entire Jr. Kart program is suspended. https://www.scca.com/articles/2013773-solos-junior-driver-program-placed-on-hold This is do to an issue that was not prevented even though the region did everything required of them by the JDP rules. Because of this a full program review was done and the dec...

Re: Tentative COVID-19 Guidelines Starting June 20th
"Events are closed to spectators. This includes your family members and friends that may want to come down and watch or support. Only registered entrants are allowed into the event." That statement is in direct conflict with the promise made by SCCA President Mike Cobb on the JDP Townhall...

Re: JDP Program Temporarily Suspended
SCCA still seems to regard secrecy as the primary goal here. I inquired on the private KAC forum and that appears to have touched off panic. The KAC is meeting June 11th and hopefully, we will know more then. But no doubt will be sworn to secrecy.   I wonder if you breach that if...

Since SB county appears to have its head firmly where the sun does not shine.... Have we reached back out to the other potential venues? It seems the drive up testing centers are starting to close down (so maybe Storm stadium has?). And I wanted to say thanks to everyone involved in trying to get u...

Canceled by ACS? From what I'm hearing, it sounds like San Bernardino is not being real helpful with getting ACS approved to have any events. I took a look through the SB county website and they only have mentions of the California Department of Public Health guidance which currently does not allow...

Are we planning on business as usual, or changing things up? Not sure. We are fielding ideas. You are welcome to contribute yours. Is there a plan in place or being developed for a "new" way of doing things? yes, although it will likely be a bunch of "shoulds" instead of "f...

An event in June would be helpful prep for the July Fontana ProSolo, am just saying :) June was canceled by the speedway not us, so nothing there. Santa Anita hasn't been responding back, not much more there. Last place for us to try would be Temecula. or you'll have to travel. There are two events...

I'd also like a refund or some sort of update for the Vegas ProSolo which has already past. From Brian Harmer, "As of right now the Las Vegas Pro is in planning phase for a rescheduled date. If the event ends up being cancelled we will issue full refunds. However, if you would rather cancel no...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
Yeah, welcome to autocross! Many people have started with off the wall builds or initial mods that put them in a way higher class. My first mod was an intake that put my otherwise street class car into B-Street Prepared. So, for many years I competed in our local class CST as I made it faster and bu...

Re: Extreme street, should it replace CST?
The one question I have is weight, how do we measure it locally? Do we need scales for some events or just not do it like local SM? Using the allowances provided it is possible to build an incredible power to weigh ratio car. Some cars can reduce weigh from stock. An S2000 (stock 2813 lbs with heav...

I'm glad we are continuing the conversation. Just working off what Reed mentioned, Pax is set by Rick Ruth, so it's not something we change locally with the exception of CST, which is still pegged to SSM. David you were correct hist 2 was 1975- 25 years or older. My apologies. With so many options, ...
