These are my sentiments as well. Only problem is that not every car is allowed in the Street Touring category.

Re: May FasTrack

My thoughts: I think additional allowances of any kind in the entry level category should be discouraged, but if you are going to allow changes to alignment beyond factory methods, it should be allowed for all cars regardless of suspension configuration.

Re: April Fastrack

Rich Grunenwald summed up how I feel perfectly with this post on another forum. Today, it's a pretty straightforward conversation: Newbie - "Wow, you are fast" 'Shoe - "Thanks. These Hoosiers are the bomb" Newbie - "How much are the Hoosiers? 'Shoe - "About $275 to $350...

Re: BFG Rivals at Dixie Match Tour?

To add another data point (and stir the pot a little }:) ), I ran against a very fast local driver in a newly half-built BRZ last weekend. Suspension, wheels and tires were about the extent of the prep. I was in Charlie's BMW. Both cars on Z2s. I was beaten by 4 tenths on a 40 second course. The BR...

Re: BFG Rivals at Dixie Match Tour?

Toyo can nev4r l0s3! I'll eat my hat if the Rival ends up faster than the Toyo on small cars. As usual, it depends on who shows up. The Dixie site is long(ish) and narrow, therefore it is transition intensive. I can see a narrow Miata on Toyos in cool conditions doing quite well against STR drivers ...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

Bushings cant contain more metal than stock, so poly or delrin is fine, but all metal is not.
I believe Super Street Modified is the next step in the ladder (350z is 2 seater right?), but your car and prep level would probably be more competitive in BSP.

Looks like a pretty good sized lot! At the horse racing lot in SF they can't start til 10 in order to avoid spooking the horses, makes for a much more relaxed autocross morning.

I was hoping someone would offer something more exciting than my civic.

Don't let the thread title and his avatar scare you away. Mihai is a great guy, and thanks to the backing of the Romanian Mafia, he can afford to compensate you.

Re: Goodyear Eagle RS (AC) f/s

These are DOT R tires Great deal for someone that wants to run in a Stock Class at the upcoming San Diego Tour and the ProSolo. Probably "easier" then running in the crowded RT classes. Calling Tom Denham! Wrong diameter for Tom's car, but could be good on Ken Lord's new ride. Not sure if...
