George,
Did you check to see if the vehicle speed sensor is loose? That was what was causing the problem with my car at tour when you drove. I could be just be loose and only causing an issue in certain areas of the course.

Re: Solo National Results
Joey S. earned the 7th place trophy in AS. Congratulations!!! That is especially impressive since he has only been autocrossing for about 1 year. There were 58 people running AS.
Barbara won ASL. Congratulations!!! Way to go. She won by an impressive 2 second lead.

Need help with worker chief 1st run group Sun Sept 14
Hi,
On the Sunday, September 14th event, I need help doing worker chief for the 1st run group. I am doing it the rest of the day. I run first and Doug works first. I need help at the beginning of the group and at the end of the group to start 2nd run group until my runs are done.
Thanks,
Kathy

Bill,
How sad. We will miss you!
It should be fun to live in New York for a couple of years. There is so much to do in NYC.

I could do chief of workers or gate on Sunday only. I would prefer chief of workers.

Will Kalman had a good idea. He suggested using some kind of lights for the red flag. The red flags were hard to see.

Re: Our driveway / alley
They said the alley will be closed for one month. The bad thing is that they didn't warn us until 2 days before they tore everything up. Luckily I was able to get the car out before the night event. Don so nicely stored my car for a week. Now she is stored at Doug's work.

Re: Where to get race alignment?
I believe Hiro's Auto Repair in Costa Mesa does alignment. They work on many local autocross cars (Bill S., Jason W., George D., mine, etc). I really like the work they have done on my S2000. If they don't do alignment, I would recommend them highly for other work. Address: Hiro's Auto Repair 3042-D...

Re: NOTLD NOTICE-NOTICE-NOTICE
1) Assuming we draw 140, average run group 35 x 4 runs, 140 total. Should be about an hour per group. First run group would have to start at 7 or so, even with major delays, we're packed up and gone by 1 - 1:30. 140 entries could be optimistic. If we are going to have 4 runs, we really need to make...

Re: NOTLD NOTICE-NOTICE-NOTICE
I do appreciated they have added 4 runs to try to make it more fun for the competetors, but I would prefer to have 3 runs instead of 4 for the following reasons: 1) This is an event where you do not want it to go extremely late 2) If someone has a car issue such as spilling oil on the course, the ev...

Re: NOTLD - A REALLY IMPORTANT change to the flyer
I have a suggestion: Start the event alittle earlier since many people seem to want to run first and not run really late. I want to drive the event but am not enthusiastic about running/working at 3am and then changing my tires.
Just a suggestion.

Doug and I drove there two different times. We had so much fun. We want to go again some time in the future. We drove a Scirocco and a Ford Fiesta. If you go, drive the video simulator car at the museum. There is also a 3D map of all the turns at the museum. Try the game Gran Turismo before you go. ...

Re: Question on age of Hoosier Tires
I found a stamp on the inside of the tire and it said 3307 and 4707. From the posts above I learned that this stamp is the date and it means the 33rd week of 07. Should I return them to Tire Rack? A year old seems too old to me. Will they take them back for this reason?
Thanks,
Kathy
