Meet new People Drive New Cars Introduce our Sport... That's right folks, your dream autocross job is available! You could be an instructor as your work assignment! Re: Questions about numbers

What is the best way to go about numbering my vehicle for the event on the 9th? Will just your standard blue masking tape work for spelling out my number and class? Also, would my lettering for Novice H Street be NHS? I would recommend printing out numbers and class letters on a sheet of paper and ...

Re: July 11 & 12 Events Are Now Open for Registration!

Also, why are the event registration links so difficult to find? It's one of three links in a orange box on the right hand side of the page. Got it, thanks Leonard. Every time I looked, I was fixating on the calendar and always thought that clicking some more on it will get me to the registration l...

My 1st (62.062) and 4th (60.778) runs in ES. No data on the final run and, yes, I should have shifted for the final stretch before the finish, but I didn't want to push what's been a historically temperamental 2-3 shift in that car.

Can't register - 5/24

Motorsportreg won't let me register for the 5/24 event because it keeps giving me an error on the Awards dropdown no matter which I choose (S or T).

Error message is:
The answer to "Awards" must choose from the following: S, T

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

Thanks Leonard. When I look at Appendix A, I'm reading v6 mustangs classed as GS or ESP. The STU class seems to be saying, N/A Not Applicable? ----- N/A = Normally Aspirated (first page in Appendix A) You can run wheels up to 9" wide in STU, so your 8" wheels are legal in STU. The wheels ...

Re: Need help tomorrow for course set up

Thought that was one of the better courses we've had in a while - many our courses lately have had a lot of spots where those of us driving low-horsepower cars are waiting for stuff to happen, but this one had enough of a mix to keep it interesting all the way through on both days - especially Sunda...

Re: New Street tires detrimental to the sport?

As it stands now, you have a choice of tire manufacturers to choose from. Bridgestone is on the high side in terms of price, so there are definitely cheaper options available with comparable performance - maybe not the fastest, but close enough to mean driver can be the difference in some classes. M...

Re: New for 2015 Mazda Contingency requirement

I got the Mazda Contingency twice last year. This requirement excludes Solo. You just need pictures of your car to prove you had the required Mazda decals and proper placement. Thanks. I noticed the checklist you send in to Mazda specifically excludes Solo from this requirement. So, problem solved.

It'll probably cover some of it, but if you want to come find me, I'd be happy to give you a rundown. Leonard could also probably help, if he's doing the pro. But I'll be around until probably 7 or so. And I'd be happy to go on some practice starts with you as well. I'm by no means an expert at the...

New for 2015 Mazda Contingency requirement

Noticed in the latest Mazda Contingency rules that winners must submit a photo of the driver wearing their racing suit with the Mazda patch sewn onto the pocket. This is in addition to submitting photos of the car with the vinyl Mazda/Mazdaspeed logos as in years past. Most of us don't have racing s...
