Re: Place to measure center of gravity height
It looks like GM published the center-of-gravity height as 20.7" at some point on their media site: http://media.chevrolet.com/media/us/en/chevrolet/vehicles/bolt-ev/2017.tab1.html It wasn't in an earlier copy from 2016, and archive.org has not crawled it this year so I'm not sure when it appe...

Re: Everybody - Please read - Club consolidation
The reason behind the proposal is the lack of participation/interest in most clubs. I totally agree with you here: motivation for me is that whatever we do, it should help quality of events as well as quantity of participants. Will this proposal do that? I don't know, but keeping the system as-is d...

For my mom's pathfinder. Need to diagnose some idle & power steering issues. Recommendations around OC would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Eric! What color is the 240Z?
I'll be around wearing some orange, shouldn't be too hard to find. I can get you squared away on passenger waivers and helmets whenever you come by.

Re: SMF with stripped interior
You can only strip from behind the front seats or something - and even then, I think it's just rear seats? Been a while since I've done SM, but you can cut the interior to fit a cage, but you can't completely remove it.

Re: Will we run in the rain 2/18 & 2/19?
Can you care to elaborate a bit more on that? Racing in the rain is statistically slower than in the dry, so doesn't it act as a handicap? Speed has less to do w/ it than the car control skills required at the limit. The rain is less forgiving to "sloppy" driving. It also helps that it's ...

What kind of recon are we talking about? I'm more than happy to verify a list you may have. If you are wanting a multi-point inspection, I would recommend having them bring it to a AAA inspection shop or something. I'm not near Ontario, but we're all racing next weekend at Fontana & it's on the ...
