Have we ever had a bike go trough one of our courses?
I'm curious if there is any chance for the cars (meaning the things with 4 wheels that still remind cars - not formula F etc) to be faster than a 600cc bike.
All these assuming a tight track - like the ones we have in local events.

0.30 was a suggestion by someone running 12-15 psi on gas.
I'm running 15-17 on E85 so if you have another recommendation I'm more than open to hear it.

Sparkplugs
At the last event in Fontana, my car couldn't really accelerate. Dr. House of cars (a.k.a. Marshall) said that it sounded like no spark and recommended to re-check the gap of my sparkplugs. I removed the plugs and I noticed that the gap instead of 0.30-0.32 was more than 0.40. I adjusted the gap and...

I was 8yo when Richard Tharp invited me to sit in the Candies & Hughes Top Fuel dragster. It went on to win 5 races and the championship right after I sat in it. :) Good karma. And something I'll never forget! http://www.nhra.net/50th/top50/r_tharp49.html" onclick="window.open(this.hr...

Re: Damaged 2006 Subaru Forester have value?
How is the suspension?
How much the insurance wants to buy it back?
It seems to me that with a couple of doors and fenders you can have it back on the road...
If I were you I would try to sell it on eBay as is... and not to part it out.

Re: Need Advice-Crazy Vibration with throttle applied (on my DD)
I'm not sure if it's normal, I believe I need to change the engine mounts. I don't aggressively looking for a solution to that right now because I changed the front wheel with a spare and the vibration stopped. Therefore I figured out that the vibration of the engine was not related with the vibrati...

Good idea, I checked but these wheels are still expensive - even used - definitely more than double the amount of money for straightening

Re: Need Advice-Crazy Vibration with throttle applied (on my DD)
By the way it all started after I gave the car for alignment and I kind of feel that maybe something happened there. There was a clanking noise coming from the steering while turning (after the alignment was done). That makes me think that I might also need to adjust the steering rack preload – mome...

Re: Need Advice-Crazy Vibration with throttle applied (on my DD)
Thanks, Lily, I'll check that. What I already have done is to check that all the wheels lugs are tight - but it might worth to remove them and torque them in right sequence. Still I'm not sure how this will explain why the vibration stops when I don't apply the throttle. George, the vibration is lik...

It seems like coming from he right side of the front wheel. Even though the cult-print of the phenomenon...

Re: Axxis Ultimates Vs Carbotech AX6 or XP8
AX6 pads are great, IMO, they are similar to the Axxis Ultimates but more aggressive on initial bite which doesn't allow much modulation. I'd be careful about the dust on the AX6 though, they will bake onto your rims. :( On another note, comparing the Stoptech Pads to the Axxis Ultimate Brake Pads ...

Axxis Ultimates Vs Carbotech AX6 or XP8
I need some opinions on this. I have had the Axxis ultimates pads on my car for the last 5 years. I was always happy with them but now that I need to replace them I want to know if there is something better out there. I hear a lot of good things about the Carbotech pads and I want the opinion of som...
