FS: 1993 MR2 hardtop, PHX but no affiliation

All I know about these is that the hardtops were pretty rare and that they're great ES cars:

Looking at the results, was there a decision made and/or announced to disregard penalties after the lights?

Re: July 17th-18th PSCC Practice/Championship

Thanks to all the club members for a fun weekend with great weather. We hope to finally make it home in the next couple of hours, as the last 3 have been spent sitting on I-10 in a freeway closure.

Theo did a great job on the courses, thanks for the effort.

Arthur, I hauled my Z06 wheels/tires around fine on a HF trailer. It will be at the Divisional this weekend behind Jay's STR MX-5 and you're more than welcome to take a look at the setup.

Max, you're in luck as your massive pink thong is still in the DSP car's trunk! (you'll have to ask Doug why :? )

To stay on topic, weather is out of my control, so I'll personally just be looking forward to another weekend of autocross and see what we end up with.

I have some 17x8" '05+ 5 spoke Bullitt style GT wheels. Silver with polished lips, they were take-offs from a new car and look brand new. Let me know if you're interested.

Re: "I wouldn't change a thing on Brian's car"

Man, I feel like I have to defend myself here. The front of the car spends a lot of time on the bumpstops, I am certain of this. While obviously not optimal, the benefits of keeping the car low have outweighed the negatives on nearly all the lots/courses I've run on this year. The front shocks...

Re: What's the Idea Behind More Aggressive Brake Pads ...

Mako, the Ferodo's are DS2500's. I was running them all the way around but was getting early front lockup (the stiffer front bar wasn't helping), so went back to a set of stock pads for the softer initial bite. Somebody more familiar with Corvettes than myself suggested that running a more aggressiv...

FYI Mako, only the '01's were forged, '02+ were all cast Speedline wheels and roughly a 1lb lighter per corner.

The club-supplied water and ice cream were awesome on Saturday and iirc, all provided...

I 3rd getting a Shelby, one of the best all-around "stock" class cars I've driven.

If you're thinking about GS, the potential top dog IMO, is likely the '05+ RSX-S.

The Z06 has a hitch, just get a big enough tire trailer for both sets of wheels/spares/tools and drive both cars to the event?

Re: AZ will have a site again

The developers that own the adjacent land have been very aggressive to keep AMP shut down, so we're not throwing any parties just yet. If by chance we regain access, there'll likely be entrant limits and sound restrictions. Rowse won't be missed. :)

Re: August Fastrack is posted:

I realize the weight distribution probably won't require much meat up front on a 911, but I'm still curious how much *usable* tire will fit. I just don't see there being much room for some adequate wheel support. I think my MX-5 weighed in at about 2370 (52/48) in comp trim. Ron's was pretty much ma...

On the standard car they did have an option for 225's. So, I imagine 255's with fit, but I was curious of the same thing.
I'm more concerned with the front end.
