Somebody needs to buy this car and continue the development. It has a ton of potential and is a lot of fun to drive.

One of the great things about using Penske's ... Guy has terrific personal service. Run out there and he re-built a shock right there and then for $50. If it takes a bit longer there is an In & Out right around the corner. :D Have you checked prices on Penske struts vs. Bilstein or anything els...

What do you want, I have A6's R1's or good street tires. Only the streets are unmounted.

Re: Remember this ESP Driver + Weekend Track Stuff
Great photos as always! I 'm a bit dissapointed as I didn't get my car ready for this weekend but it gives me an excuse to go to Sonoma (Sears Point/Infineon) instead for the 4th of July weekend. I'm trying to convince Jason and Philip that it would be a great idea to join us, how about you and Kare...

If you're prepping for STL just move the wiper function to a flip switch on the dash board. No need to keep any of the factory switches, gauges or any other part of the electrical system.

Re: Recommendation for Head Shaving and ...
I wouldn't do the windshield in lexan, by the time it's all installed in the correct thickness and with the required straps it's a minimal weight saving. It will also scratch easy, it makes sense for the thinner material in the rear.

Re: Clutch Kit for 99 M Coupe S52
I have a JB Machine flywheel with barely used Sachs clutch I was going to use for my E46 330Ci, it will fit your M coupe. I don't think I'm going to use it so if you're interested I'll give you a good deal on it.

Re: 2nd SCCA Time Trial @ Buttonwillow May 19-20
How does it work if your car is technically a Prepared car but is entirely street legal? Going over the rules it looks like my car would fall under PDX which means it should be okay without the road race tech but I don't want to invest that much time to fail tech over a technicality. Call or email ...

That car has had a long hard life. It started out as a pro-celebrity car for Long Beach GP ( I talked to actor Perry King this weekend, he drove it back in the late nineties and would have won the race had it not been for fuel starvation on the last few laps). Then it was a school car @ Willow Sprin...

We'll be leaving around 11AM tomorrow, need to get a new log book issued, was told that tech opens at 2PM.
Too bad no one signed up for the TT from here, only 11 cars in the TT group, should be a lot of open track available and only $200.00 for Sat & Sun.

An increase in min weight by 50-75lbs would be helpful to even things out if bars/cages become mandatory in prep & mod. The extremely low minimum weight #'s and difficulty for newer cars to reach them is the only reason my old car did not have a full cage. Prep and mod cars with proper cages sho...
