I guess sometimes sloppy is fast, but not my sloppy sloppy is ok when you have the right car for the conditions. It is tough to compete on index with a car that is very good at getting heat into all of its tires when it's that cold/windy/wet. Using something with an ST* index is about the only shot...

Not to steal this thread, but my (our) numbers & class letters are extremely readable (white on dark green). Good height, width, etc. But I Know they are not the dimensions SCCA specifies. Will I have a problem at National events? It's a "why take the chance" kinda thing. I would hate...
