Re: Toyota/Subaru RWD
the shorter engine means the CG of the engine is closer to the front axle if you line the front edge of the engine up with the front axle line Why not line the back of the engine with the firewall? Wouldn't that make more sense? There is no power transmitted to the front wheels so I don't see why i...

Re: Photos/videos March 18th PSCC Autocross Sunday
I guess sometimes sloppy is fast, but not my sloppy sloppy is ok when you have the right car for the conditions. It is tough to compete on index with a car that is very good at getting heat into all of its tires when it's that cold/windy/wet. Using something with an ST* index is about the only shot...

Not to steal this thread, but my (our) numbers & class letters are extremely readable (white on dark green). Good height, width, etc. But I Know they are not the dimensions SCCA specifies. Will I have a problem at National events? It's a "why take the chance" kinda thing. I would hate...

Re: Cal Club grid process could use tweaking...
BTW, I'm surprised we only have one Nationals grid expert. Who is he or she? Maybe they could head up the sub-committee along with us volunteers. You're taking the jokes as reality. We've done this style grid at local events a bunch of times.. just not much in the last few years. There used to be a...

Re: Tired of being penalized for being a single driver car!
Just to make my position clear, this is what I am proposing: 1: X runs are run at the end of the run group, not during competition runs. 2: Two driver cars must alternate drivers and second runs for either driver can not be made before every other driver in the run group has completed their first r...

Re: Tired of being penalized for being a single driver car!
It is probably he ability to buy and run X runs in the same group as your main runs that causes the 2 driver lane inflation. With only 4 groups we kinda need to allow this.. so I don't see a real solution while our number don't allow us to run 5 or 6 groups. Marshall is right, 2 driver cars do run t...
