Re: Thank you to the Novice school volunteers and instructors
I don't think I can say enough about just what a great event this was. I liked the individual elements and how they were merged into a very fun course. I definitely had plenty of seat time. The quality instruction was quite evident in the times that were posted by end of day Sunday by the students. ...

George, Can I change my Class to BS NOV? I registered before I saw the posts that we can run in the novice class. Thanks! Byron Actually, a correction to my original request - I signed up originally as SK1 BS, but it seems to be able to get my Novice points, I should instead be running in the B Sto...

Thanks for the clarification, George.
I have another question - what about the test and tune on the preceding Friday? Are there more details about that event?
Thanks again

Re: Stock Class Mods
Matt,
I intend to run SK1 next season. It just seems like the right thing to do.
Once I get my car figured out, I may start running B Stock to keep it interesting.
Get the S2000, you'll love it!

Re: Stock Class Mods
Geez, Matt....
I'm thinking some 500+ treadwear tires, really soft shocks and lowering your rev limiter about 1500 RPM should do the trick.
Haha, I can get most of that here at the corner service station if you like (I'm such a giver)

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
Wouldn't "NOVICE" be based on Driver experience vs anything car related? Cam, as we get better towards the end of the year, the prep levels of our cars (should) start to matter more. My concern is the 15 or so points that I could potentially earn if the first place car is in a faster clas...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
So, I have a few races, and I am getting more comfortable with driving my car - but I started to think about how I classed myself, and based upon event results, I wonder if I have classed myself incorrectly. I am running a bone-stock 2007 Honda S2000, with street tires. I have classed myself as BS N...

Thanks everyone! I'm having a blast
Let me tell you, after experiencing three events, I am so very happy to been able to participate. It's so much fun to spend time with other car people, discuss our rides and, even better, drive them as hard as we can on some really great courses. My hat is off to everyone; I'm especially grateful th...

Applying prior events' points (Novice)
Hi All, I PMed a message to see if I could get points applied from the Feb 13 event now that I have points card (#757). Since there is a 60 day limit that my potential points can be applied, and the fact that there is but a few days left before this opportunity expires, I want to try all options to ...

Whadayaknow?!? Needing new tires...
Hi All, Time to pick up a new set of tires. My current set of Potenzas will not last another event weekend. Sooo, with credit card in hand, I am on the prowl for a set of rubber. These tires will be going onto the Honda S2000, which is running in the BS Class. I am considering getting tires that I w...

Re: Another Newbie post
Thanks again for all the help. I have few more questions to make sure that I am ready in a week and a half :D Air - It seems that tire pressure is important to a good run. Hi All, I have been anticipating joining this fun and exciting sport for a while now. Life events have calmed down enough so that I am now ready to dive in! Already, I have spent some time researching online what I need to do, but I still have a bit of confusion about what I must do to get started.....
