Re: More El Toro Div Info, Attn everyone
We'll see guys. KJ and I had a blast overall doing the math on the fly and guessing who was leading who :) Taking 2 cones on my fastest run from sat. REALLY put me in a whole though for Sun. I feel confident I can keep a 1 second advantage on KJ each day in El Toro. Of which would be an overall win,...

< 3 average in SK1 = $0 ??
Or do we default to $75 for first place?
Gotta give me some form of a carrot

Does anyone know if you are a regular Joe who wants to not compete in the Regional, how do you sign up for the El Toro weekend??

Re: Best 140 Wear Rating Tires?
FYI, a bone stock 02 WRX wagon, 95,000 miles on it, ran a low 72. on Sun. With Dunlop Z1 's on it.
I blame the tires, the car itself sucks pretty bad stock wise.
I drove it as an instructor, felt really good even with the huge body movement.
Was the drivers second event too.
Impressive.

Re: No$ event from the Chair...
Not sure if this was mentioned anywhere about the event yet. But, coming from radio worker #4, me, run group 3, I was SUPER busy calling in cones near the finish. Seemed like about 30-40% of the run group had cones. That amount of cones really keeps the motor home folks somewhat distracted, thus get...

Re: Course Finish Standard
My biggest comment is that visually you could not find the finish, easily. My opinion says that 50 feet before the finish, it should be visually obvious where the lightsare to judge your braking point. Having a lined( w/ cones) course right up to the finish lights did not help at all. Gates FTW. My ...

2003 Mini Cooper S FS, guy at my work
Spotted a red LOW mileage 2003 Mini Cooper S, 9500 miles, sport package and a bunch of other options. No internet ad that I saw, just a name and number. This is somewhere near LAX I am guessing. He has a 310 # Call Ralph, 310-548-1718, he's asking $18,500. I should see if he wants to trade me for my...

Re: Site opinions
To find other members, it appears one has to post the name exactly or it won't come up. Can we change that features so that we can search from just a few letters instead of the whole name? I tested using a wildcard, i.e. To find any name that starts with pet type, pet* the asterik at the end is key...

+1, nice course. Made me want to keep driving it, over and over
Maybe a couple too many times, we shall see.
Also, BIG thanks to John Fendel for the awesome course map provided at Reg. on Sun. Nice touch.
