Re: Children under 12 riding in a car at an event.
2016 or 2017. Robert wrote a letter to the SEB supporting the idea when he was 11 (and 64"). They passed it, but it didn't go into effect until he was already 12.

Re: 15x7.5 wheels
Just wanted to point out that the 91 trailing arms supercede in the parts book so you can use them on an 89-90. Sorry... Still no help on the CRX question.

Re: 15x7.5 wheels
I thought that was a 35mm rim? 35mm put you into the fender with a Civie. I'm surprised they say it works. Maybe with a narrow 195 tire and a lot of camber or a high ride height. For STS you'd get a lot of rubbing I'd think. The wheel just sticks out too far. And you can't run negative spacers. Some...

Re: Everybody - Please read - Club consolidation
Bill makes a very good point. I'm still "Meh". There are been moments of ugliness in regards to leadership. Not a lot in the big scheme of things. Many many years ago, I was told privately by an old guard member that they had total control of everything because they controlled the largest ...

Re: A Big Thank You!
Nice job guys! These great events can't happen without hard work and reality is a few really pull the extra work to make it happen. I wish it was more hands, but still I was impressed with the clean-up turnout. I brought Robert back at the end to help stack cones and load in the mom van. I want him ...

Junior Karts Town Hall Important changes in 2018
Significant changes are coming to our Junior Kart program nationwide in 2018. These changes will be introduced in a Junior Kart Townhall on the evening of July 25th @6pm. Please pre-register. All parents should plan to attend this Townhall (as well as Teen participants in my opinion). I also think t...

Re: Crow's Landing Average Requests - April 23
Only Robert Ekstrand JA #90 ran the Crows event since the truck died on the way up to Crows. And our trailer is still stuck in the Boondocks two weeks later.
Forget that whole Steve Ekstrand, Sheldon Ekstrand, Stacey Miller request.
And in other news.... Don't hate the MiniVan.

Re: Volunteers - April 2017
You have to push those that know what to do to do what they know. ;) I also check each kart briefly for the main safety items. Come up with a way to isolate grid so we don't have to shut down. Help the starter with spacing. Make sure each kid knows how to turn off kart engine. And where to go after ...

Re: Volunteers - April 2017
If you do Yutes Tom, I believe the only parents would be David Barrish, Robert Baltazar, Mike Nakata and Will Kalman. Robert, Mike, and Will are very experienced and can help with how we have been separating grid, spacing the karts, and the latest high points in tech.
