Re: New to Autocross
Normally I'd suggest just coming out to a practice day and go for rides in various cars and talk to the competitors, but of course things aren't currently normal. Spectators aren't allowed at the moment, but you can enter the event, have some fun driving, watch various cars run, and talk to other dr...

Need a car
So both my car (terminally ill) and motorcycle (needs parts) are down, I am without transportation while looking for a replacement car. Really cheap rentals don't seem to exist any more, at least near where I live. So looking for something to borrow or rent cheap while Tom Berry helps me locate some...

I assume you mean Lake Elsinore, 20 miles closer than Temecula (and only 5 miles for me!).

Re: Novice
How old is your daughter? If under 18, we'll need to let you know about the minor waiver procedures. My son just turned 16. He's run Karts since his 5th birthday, but this season we're co-driving a car. Pretty cool to do that! To add to Steve's comment. We need a minor waiver signed by both parents...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
No internal engine mods in SP. CST is a Regional class so it's described in our local Supp Regs: CALIFORNIA STREET TOURING (CST): Vehicles eligible for CST must comply with the rules of CSM, with the exception that all of the tires mounted on the car must have a TREADWEAR number of 200 or higher mol...

Re: Historic 1 Proposed Rules change.
Since there is a thread about replacing CST with XS (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10809), should probably include that in this discussion. Plus if CST is kept, does it's PAX need to be adjusted? Not sure it ever has since tied to SSM

Re: Historic 1 Proposed Rules change.
This seems to have gotten way too complicated for a local class. Looks like Doug's #5 option makes the most sense to me. Keep HIST1 & 2 as is with the addition of cars in Brian's post. If someone want's to run a non-SCCA classed car, use CST or CSM (actually has always been available on MSR, the...

I think when I was updating PAX in Axware, I couldn't remember what CST was supposed to match and forgot to come back and fix it.Marshall Grice wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 1:03 pm I assume you are pointing out that the cst index is wrong in axware again? Should be .864 and it shows .858.

Re: Historic 1 Proposed Rules change.
My opinion, remove the HCS wording from the proposal. Just stick with our local class with modifications agreed upon by local competitors. HCS is not an SCCA supplemental class and obviously has a screwed up PAX.

Re: Historic 1 Proposed Rules change.
After reading through this and talking with several people, my opinion is to approve Brian's suggestion in the first post, assuming this is something all Historic competitors agree with. However, remove the reference to SCCA 2016 supplemental HCS Class . First, it is not a supplemental SCCA class, a...

Thanks again for the reply! Though I just wanted to confirm or not, do you still have to pay to attend each event, if you have a membership? For example, if I purchase a year membership, will I have to pay on top of that to attend each event. And is Saturday and Sunday seperate events? Would I have...
