Re: Good 12 Volt Compressor ???

Campbell Hausfield 250 psi portable battery compressor works for us.
Has 12v and 110 hookups for charging - and a light/flasher.
Have been using for over 3 years now.

Lost white magnetic #1's at event

So I've been corrected
We lost a set of black magnetic #1's on a white background somewhere. Hopefully someone found them and turned them in.

Thanks

Re: San Diego Tour tire changing

So what was the story on the Kumho Truck??? Rolling Billboard? can't afford to have a contingency program... ...so they waste gas bringing the truck out to tours Careful now You can never have to many tire manufacturer's in solo or to many tire trucks at an event. There was a time in the distant pa...

Re: Good news for SK1 & SK2 at San Diego Tour

I can't believe the master of disinformation hasn't chimed in here.

I have e-mailed Sandi for a clarification on IDX1, IDX2, IDX3, R classes.
I'm guessing that SK1/SK2 is in there somewhere!

Sound in San Diego

Don't get so caught up in trying to figure sound readings. The sound meter is calibrated and reads correctly. It is always placed 50' from the edge of the course. The variable here is the location of the sound meter on course. Weather (cloudy, clear) also plays a smaller factor. When the meter is pl...

Re: 2009 San Diego Tour Thread

Do SK drivers need to also have their stock class letters on the car, or just their corresponding SK1/SK2? Just the class letters (SK1 or SK2) not the stock index (i.e. AS, BS)....though it doesn't hurt if you do have them on. Uh Gio - for the SD tour they need to. We will have them at tech if you ...

Hey, let's get back on track here.

Less than 70 registered so far for the tour, only 2 in SK1/SK2.

Don't forget you need to register 2 weeks early to get the $90.00 price. After that is goes to $130.00

Re: Good news for SK1 & SK2 at San Diego Tour

Would the local classes (ie SK1) be elligible for the challenge? Okay I'll start. Not running the Pro series -but you want to affect challenge points for those people  How do you get a dial in on an indexed class :?: I'm all for SK1/SK2 running the event - but not for the challenge. Bonus ...

Re: Good news for SK1 & SK2 at San Diego Tour

Well said Christine. SK1/SK2 is an indexed class and takes some extra work to run at the tour. But it is a well subscribed class in both SD/LA regions. This is a good opportunity to show off the merits of the SK concept to the national folks. The Pro is a different animal. it really is a series that...

Good news for SK1 & SK2 at San Diego Tour

We have been cleared to run SK1 & SK2 at the San Diego National Tour. Sign up for the event in AMod - in the notes to registrar box add your class - i.e. SK1 - AS. At the event you will be called SK1 & SK2. Online registration can't be changed so you must register in AMod. Don't forget that ...

Re: News on Divisionals?

Maybe we need to think on a much smaller scale for this year. We could do a SoCal series or just hold 1 combined event. Keep the contingencies to something more manageable and make it a fun 2 day event. Mari's idea on the prizes is great - maybe helmet bags would work also - seems like you can allwa...

Re: Pointers/Directional Cones

Since we operate under the National guidelines, only adding Supplemental Regulations where we deviate, I don't think there is any need. Why is S.D. adding something for this? Did some argument develop? Mike I think this is the whole point of the arguement. The Solo rules say nothing about direction...

I think the best thing about an ASP car is the seat since you can put in a racing seat! The worst part of the Z06 is the seat because they designed it for a 50+ year old guy with a beer belly.
