Re: Pre-Registration for November 30th

so are we going to be able to see the run order list somewhere? or am i just going to make it up on the fly that morning? Yeah, even though it's programmed into the site, it's not visable to the general user, just used to import into the timing software. The programmer is working on it. For n...

Re: Sylmar Fire

Great. Was just thinking this morning nice to not be affected by the fires, no smoke, no ash. Now I hear ny normal route home (Ortega Highway) is closed due to a fire :( so gotta take the looooong way home. At least there is no brush on the hills near my house as it all burned last year.

I see a good set of co-driver numbers that are available, 156 and 159. Using magnetics, all you have to do is flip the 6/9 to change.

We are planning on using a new system for online registration which will also include online payment. Just fine tuning a couple of things. Looking to have it active tomorrow.

Re: 2009 CSCC Points Cards Available (New Members ONLY)

TOO new to Know! While looking at the point card I notice that all number fewer than 156 are either current or expired - on hold, but the 2009 point card have numbers under 100 available. Can you select a 2009 point number? What happens to your 2008 point since there are Nov and Dec events? Still d...

Sylmar Fire

Looks like a few of our members may be very, very close to the fire. Richard Bowman and Marco & Ira Cruz appear to be within blocks of the flames. I can relate, having the fire in Lake Elsinore a year ago come to within a block of my house - very scary indeed. My thoughts are with them and hope ...

Re: Buttonwillow Track Day with Cal Club and Speed Ventures

You guys do realize Renee is not a novice to track days. Plenty of laps in the old Solo 1 format. That's the good news. The bad news is she didn't get her AOL email address for nothing  Come on, Rick. It was only two cars she flipped right? True. And one was Renee's pit crew fault - he swappe...

That's cool! Of course I voted for him, and he's in a solid 2nd. Unfortunately, the leader has 4 times the votes and is all 5 stars (and the video is honestly a little better). Hopefully there is more than a grand prize.

Re: Our Cal Club Representation ... Up 4 Vote

So when exactly am I supposed to start getting the Cal Club paper? I've been a Cal Club member since April and an SCCA member since August, and the only thing I've ever received from SCCA or Cal Club in the mail is my SCCA card. Am I supposed to do something or sign up for something, or did I just ...

Re: Contesting a call

The competitor currently shows as getting a trophy. The trophies are not accurate according to our supp regs, and those are preliminary and that's just because the AXWare software displays it like that. So don't read too much into it. Actually they are accurate. 1 for 3, 2 for 5, 1 for each additio...

Oh and did I mention that T&S is extremely prejudiced. Who you are, how you present your request and how nice you've been to any of us in the forums will have a siginificant effect on the outcome of anything in question.

Please do not talk to the computer operator or other workers. There is usually somone overseei...

I thought that publication was all about road race. Never could figure out why I was getting it. Because you're an SCCA member of a region (Cal Club) in the Southern Pacific Division. The newsletter just has a heavy-bias reporting on road-racing, though they have reported on Solo2...provided we sub...

Received this from Jo Ann: Hi Everyone: It is with a heavy heart that I write you to tell you that Grant Byers passed away last night. He had always made it quite clear that he did not want a funeral or memorial service. So maybe we can all say a little prayer for him. Jo Ann Lynch I remember Grant ...

Re: ProSolo LA 2009?

My guess is most auto-xers do Tours, then they see a "Pro" afterwards and are curious want to do it the following weekend. I'm using "auto-xers" as not the "hard-core" who will do both regardless of the order. There are a few that LOVE "Pros" and only do that...
