December 12th 2009 Practice (with photos)

Start sending your checks. 70 entry max but I don't see a big problem getting in for most people.

For those of you that want guaranteed entry, just ask Ekstrand what he sent me last time I took entries. That works just fine...

Re: How to mark number and class on your car

Bump! Just a friendly reminder. I think it has gotten better, but I have seen a couple of really bad ones recently. My favs at the last event were the blue cars with blue tape numbers and the one id...er...competitor with the white car and white masking tape class letters... Seriously, more than ha...

Re: CSCC Pace Car ... Who Knew ?

I thought we had the Mechanic, and storage locations worked out a year ago. Eric, and Tom respectfully. It was then a matter of funds when (drawing a blank on the young ladies name) was attempting to sell her Toyota Celebrity race Celica... then it stalled. That was Ashley. She moved to the East Co...

91x is awesome! I especially like Resurrection Sundays during my early morning tow to SD. Try "First Wave" on Sirus/XM. Channel 839 on DirectTV. That channel plays more than any show on my TV except for Hannah Montana... ...ummm...'cause I have a 12 year old daughter. Yeah. That's it...

Curt Thank you for taking the time to write about Solo for the SCCA SoCal news. Keep up the great work. +1. Just read it, and got a few chuckles. Re: Overall Points update after 8/23 ?

Rick hasn't posted that he has audited the enitre event yet. I typically wait at least a week so that the information I am putting into my spreadsheet is good, and then I only have to do it once. The output of the spreadsheet is only as good as the data going in, and it is kinda a waste of my time ...

Re: Sept FasTrack

In a given turn, the longer the wheelbase, the greater the difference between turning radius of the front vs. rear wheels. And that means to clear the apex cone with the rear wheels (which is what matters if you're doing it right), you need to swing the front end around wider, increasing your *effe...

Re: August 22nd Practice List

With a 100 people? Run all day without assigned run groups???? I don't want any part of that. Spend 40 minutes in grid to get 1 run? Looks like I paid $70 to get 3 runs because I can't spend all day in grid and run the kids course too. Its impossible. Did somebody get the hyped up fantasyland talk ...

I assume there is a line for two driver cars? We generally put two drivers (assuming two entries) in two different run groups when ever possible on practices. See me at registration. This works on Run/Rest/Work, KJ. George is proposing when you're not working, you're running. A two driver line will...
