Re: ProSolo Test 'n Tune???

I haven't heard anything about one, and would be surprised, not a lot of space in that lot. And we hit 185 entries they have to plan for.

ProSolo T-Shirts

Here's a preview of the ProSolo T-shirts. Something different this year. PM me with special requests like long sleeve, extra large sizes, etc. and I'll try to accommodate. Considering reversing on the ladies shirt because the design is so big, large design on back and triangle on left chest. Ladies?...

Re: ProSolo Format

In addition to your regular work assignment, as the event host, Cal Club members are expected to work the Challenges. While probably too late now, just like local events, there are a limited number of pre-event work assignments that count for the weekend.

Re: Introduction

Hi David, Welcome to Cal Club!

Your helmet is valid. While some organizations do have age limits, for autocross it's just the certification and 2005 is still acceptable.

Re: New here, registered for Saturday Feb 9

As Mike mentioned, we have a great Novice program, however it is geared primarily for Sunday events (guided course walk, instructors available). Feel free to ask almost anyone for a ride along to get a look at how we do courses and a feel for it at speed. Most are more than willing to take passenger...

I don't think I can attend the awards banquet on that date, is there any other ways to claim and get the awards by any chance? Thanks so much for the helps :D Brian, I don't seem to have a valid email for you and I'm not sure if the address on MotorspoortReg is valid. I'll need an address to send t...

Re: Is There A Feb Event ??????????

All events we have contracts for are listed on MSR with basic info as a place holder, but are not opened for registration until we have all the details nailed down. I'm guessing you logged in last night while it was being updated to go live, which is why you didn't see it.

Possible rain Friday night into Saturday, may want to use the yellow crayons to mark key cones. There is a bunch in the RV on the shelf straight in front of you when you go in.

Thanks to Mike Flanigan , who stopped by Monday morning with fresh eyes and some expert mechanic knowledge, he identified the issue pretty quickly as a throttle cable problem. I guess I dismissed it pretty early since the throttle return spring seemed strong and the less than ideal conditions when I...

If it's bone stock, it would be in DS (D Street), not DSP (D Street Prepared) which allows significant changes to the car. Can't help with much else, but I'm sure other folks more familiar with your car will chime in. Today was a race day, so most may not be home yet.

Re: Troubleshooting Help

the Idle Air Control(IAC) Valve. Maybe. Looked at the old one, appeared to be stuck partially open. Cleaned, but didn't really seem to make a difference. Jammed the inlet side with a paper towel to force it closed and plug it. Made a big difference, under 2k rpm instead of 6k. Got a new one, starte...
