Re: Time for STX2
I don't know about STX2, but what class would this car be in? http://www.aptera.com/look.php Believe it or not, we do have 2 electric car classes, one for stock production cars (EL) and one for conversions (ECC). Must be pure electric, no hybrids. Somehow Craig Angel convinced us to create them whe...

Re: New and would like some help with classing
I attended the Ladies Autocross school and enjoyed the event very much. If I were to compete what class would I be in? I looked it up and my car fit the street prepared category on the dot except for the internal engine upgrade. My engine is stock (94 Mazda rx-7 1.3L wankel) except I have a mild st...

Re: News on Divisionals?
Anyone have any current info on the status of a divisional series? I saw that we have a tentative date set out for the CSCC event, but I haven't heard much else. Jayson, if you need another body to help making this happen, give me a call. It's complicated. May be ProParts, may be official SCCA Div,...

Re: Cal Club Rallies?
Used to do that when I was in college. Classes range from SOP (seat of pants) to people with high end gear. Jeanne has been around forever and they are like us, basically independent from papa CalClub. Called TSD (time, speed, distance) rallies where you get specific instructions where to turn and e...

Re: December 13th practice flyer is up!
the flier indicates that on line registration for practice is available -- doubt it is so you might want to remove it from flier....mailing my check... That isn't controlled within the flyer setup itself so I cannot remove it. I'll ask Will if he can do anything about it. Mike There is no reason yo...

Hmmmm, totally forgot about that. May have to do it at registration for now. I'll see if I can find a way to add it online when I get a chance.Eric Stanley wrote:Not that it matters much to most, I'm sure... but... there used to be a way to select if you want a trophy or solo bucks. Re: Online Registration for 12/14 Open
since we're dong registration on the new site, is the actual flyer going to be posted there or on the old calender page ? Probably, at least for now. But it was easy to clone the previous event on ORM and just change dates and add the run order. I don't know who the event officials are yet which is...

Re: Committee Meeting Minutes - Nov, 2008 : POSTED
There was a short discussion regarding the Cars and Coffee CSCC appearance. The feedback was positive, although a demo would probably bring more interest. As an interim step, at the next one, maybe it'd be a good idea to bring a laptop and possibly a larger external LCD monitor and speakers and sho...

Re: Nov. 30th Champ Event - PayPal Paid List
How do we deal with people who get the free entry because they worked the Ladies School ... but already paid by PayPal? Refund at the Track, or credit towards a future event? Don't think we've established any official procedure yet. Giving a credit on the ORM site is quick and easy and has no fees....

I have a question about the payment. How do I get the "Junior's" rate for this registration? I am an SCCA First Gear member. I think the answer is register online and pay at the event. Gio or Rick will know for sure. Bob, surprisingly, is correct! :D As the instructions say, we only have ...

Re: black friday?
Saw news reports last night of people already camping out to be first in line. Not sure there's anything I would want bad enough to do that. Obviously their time has no value. And whose idea was it that it makes sense to open a store at 4am? I did go to Radio Shack last year at 8:30am (they opened a...
