Re: Sept Fastrack posted
The interesting twist that I don't see mentioned anywhere is Stock's affect on ST / SP. If your car isn't Stock legal, it can't run in ST. I'm sure the SEB can change that but it certainly wasn't mentioned in the latest Fastrack. Likewise SP fundamentally picks up cars from Stock, with some exceptio...

Kathy,
Do you mean that you can only be there Sunday?
If that's the case, I'd like you to be Chief of Workers on Sunday and I'll take it for Saturday.

Re: September Event Chief Volunteers
Suggestions: (Some edits below) Sebastian and KJ, how about you two split the responsibilities, being sure to confer on the responsibilities before and during the event. Maybe one of you takes Saturday and the other Sunday, with some equitable split of the Prep stuff. I will coordinate the Practice ...

September 08 Event Chief Volunteers
Ladies and Gents! We're looking for some people to help with this event, and since many of our members will be out of town in Topeka for a little shindig, it's a great opportunity for some new volunteers to get their feet wet, much like Tom Tanquary did with our great course for NOTLD. In particular...

What's the point to asking the point in a thread intended to be totally, completely, wildly off-topic?!? That would be too on-topic! (Just havin' fun with ya Rick...)Rick Brown wrote: I don't speak German. What's the point of this?

Re: NOTLD's Future: The Discussion and Poll
I'd like to add that Tom Phillips' lighting of the grid area from his R.V. was fantastic, and Bill's grid technique was great too (not using cones, just liner). That grid technique saves a lot of setup and tear down time, and eliminates the problem with people tripping over cones. That's one of thos...

Re: Looking for Co-driver for Nationals
Geez Randy, go easy on the guy. We don't need him so paranoid he sets up a second set of parameters in the ECU so I'm stuck with a 5k redline.
By the way, if you know anyone with a 6-speed Miata transmission I can buy, please let me know who to contact.

Re: ANSWERS TO NOTLD
I've always felt we should buy 2" rolls of bright Orange or Lime painters tape for emergency car numbers. And then tell them to take their time and do it right. Like my impromptu 7's at the divie. At the beginning of the year - or some time before March - I printed hundreds of pages of numbers...

Re: Website latency and connection problems
From work, TRACERT only occasionally shows anything beyond 15ms, and there are very few connections that time out. I'm running it while my browser spins aimlessly, waiting for the page to refresh. With either imbedded IE in Firefox or IE directly, I still have frequent problems. The good news is: ap...

Re: Website latency and connection problems
I use Firefox v3.0.1 at both locations, so that could be the issue... even though it's rippin' fast and consistent on *every other website* I access.
Just a little more info. Glad to hear this isn't a prevailing problem. I'll try accessing the site via embedded IE.

Website latency and connection problems
Am I the only person who has a problem with the new forums? I regularly have a failed connection or have to refresh the page manually, which occurs 25%+ of the time. This happens both at my office and at home, so it's neither the computer nor the connection causing the problem. Oh... and none of thi...
