I think this is the one Max uses most often:

Re: Interesting Result Losing Muffler

Mako, Take this as a kind hearted suggestion - Shut up and drive! Your lap time issues have nothing to do with your muffler or a cross brace. You should be thinking 100% about your driving and not spending any brain cycles on tuning the car. Don't even take tire temps - the car is dialed in well eno...

Re: Where to buy Fuel Canister Locally ?

I used to buy my race fuel from Downs (http://www.downsenergy.com/index.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). I even had a CFN card and could pick up race fuel at any CFN fueling station.

Re: When to red flag

Road racing corner workers use whistles all the time. Grid and Tech also use them because they can be heard inside running race cars. I even had my whistle at Saturday's practice and spent time irritating Mike with it. Probably a good idea for workers on a Solo2 course, but there will be five posts ...

Maybe I should just build up a set of SA Koni coilovers
Ding, ding, ding! Winner winner, chicken dinner! And you can later have those Koni's revalved to try out some damping rates before spending the big bucks.

It had a tech sticker. The car owner waited until the tech chief left and then brought the car back through and it passed. I've caught people trying that and its pretty easy to do when there's a rush of cars at tech.

Lots of high mileage Miata's on the track ...
Maybe, but no 100K engine that I know of is winning races with SCCA Club Racing. Not in SM, ITA, or STU. People may be able to do a track day with a 100K engine but they are not racing, at least competitively.

The biggest benefit I can see is the the Solo2 community can make sure safety issues are addressed in a logical and documented way. If tech rejects a car for competition, where is that written down? How do we keep that car from being shopped to another, less experienced tech inspector during the sa...
