Thank you to Brandon Porambo for taking the initiative and getting our rig to El Toro today!
I must admit, I was impressed when he showed up at El Toro in a green button down shirt, tighty whities, brown socks and wallabies!
Thanks again Brandon!

Re: April 2018 Practice & Autocross
Hey David,
I thought we'd go ahead and run them at a lunch break. If you guys want to run before (i.e. at 8:00-9) or after (i.e. maybe like 5:00 ish), I'm happy to work with the kart gang to accommodate that.

Re: Whoo Hoo! The PRO Solo is Here!
Hey Eric, Since it's your first time, I'll try and shed a little more light on the subject (although I'm by no means a ProSolo expert, I've just done a few). Starting with grid: You'll have an assigned grid spot. It'll be a number (like 121) and you'll find your assignment on a sheet posted on a boa...

Re: WTB: Tire Blankets
I don't know if it would work for custom made tire blankets, but when I've needed that material, I just went to Walmart and bought the biggest cheap windshield sunshades they had. Cut it up with scissors for my custom application, and then trimmed the edges with high quality black cloth "gaffer...

Re: How to tell which group is running?
I'd probably prefer an old school analog method. Autocross is my escape from technology, and because my phone hooks up to my car, I typically turn it off at events. A flag is very simple and only requires a glance towards the motorhome to answer the question. The only problem is making sure somebody...

Re: Novice looking for the basics
Hey Garet, I see you're signed up for the February event along with Owen. If you both are planning on joining SCCA, they have a family plan that you and Owen can use to save some money. To do it, call SCCA (get their 800 number off any page at SCCA.com) and ask for the membership department. Their w...
