Re: 2015 SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS changes??

Thanks Doug. This issues you raise have been addressed as Rick said. Sounds like a job for our new rules chairman to update the supp regs. Mike? Were there any rules questions specific to Historic classes that need attention? George, I listed everything I found in the first message. Lenard got conf...

2015 SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS changes??

It looks like it is time to make an update to the SRs. Street class replaced Stock in 2014. The 2013 SRs did not get updated to reflect the changes. George Schilling asked me to start this thread. The 2015 events start in January and it would be nice to update the SRs before they start. My understan...

Re: 2015 PAX

I thought all the years I ran in Sk the street tire bump was .975 for Pax purposes, I didn't realize it got changed at some point to .98 I think we have to go back to and before 2013 to see what was used. As far as I can tell SK and HisX were not used in 14. Only Street index and Stock index were u...

Re: 2015 PAX

I think "Historic Stock" (HSX using H as an example) had a street tire PAX index like SK1-SK2 and regular Stock (HS) PAX was for DOT-Rs. Then when Street class was added Stock changed (HSR). Now DOT-Rs are gone (except for classes like SP/SM...) because Stock is now gone. So I think now i...

Re: 2015 PAX

Why is Historic Stock broken out separately in the calculator? All the cars are elsewise classed.... they just run amongst themselves... vs their modern class brethren for points. Before 2014 PAX had no prevision for 140 and then 200 TW for Stock. I think "Historic Stock" (HSX using H as ...

Last Sunday Kathy was running at El Toro. The entrance to the base is now on Trabuco. To get to the entrance take Sand Canyon to Trabuco and head East on Trabuco. When you get to the end of Trabuco you will see a K rail and possibly a Irvine Police person. It looks like you should turn right. At tha...

I wouldn't be so happy about going to ES just yet, there are a few wild cards that might become overcars. Also why are there cars on the stock list that aren't stock eligible? I see quite a few cars on the list that are 30+ years old and a few production cars that didn't hit the 1000 model limit(no...

1. If a car has been put out to pasture remove it from the list. From the list of "Stock" cars. Not having "H" stock as a class means my stock, old car will not have an index that I have any hope of running against. 2. Street Prepared numbers could grow overnight, "when&quo...

+1-1 diameter: good rule. Example: AP1 S2000s have a 16x7.5 inch wheel in the back and FD RX7 has 16x8. Only competitive size is. 225r16, because there is no focus to make fast tires in 16 inch wheel. It kills those cars in terms of being competitive, because they need at least a 245 to be fast. I ...

I am not sure I made my point on what I call OEM+1/-1. Take the Miata on the OEM 4X100 14x5.5's and allow it to run on the 4X100 15" Miata wheel that came on the newer version Miata. Think of it as Up date back date of stock wheels. You can tell an OEM wheel from across the parking lot so you d...
