Re: Parting out - 1999 Miata

Which wheels?

We might like a front left fender ... what do they run for? Does it include the fender liner?

I put in the radiator, thermostat, and some of the hoses you sold to us already.

Anyone notice that when in the email area we don't have a choice beyond "British English." I thought we won our independence from those guys!? Where are the other english options, like Spanglish, Pidgin, Ozark, Dutch english, etc ... We've gone to far in catering to Max! I suspect Aaron is...

Re: How do you determine if a Miata has the Sport package?

Isn't that what we're trying to do with taller tires and our 6 spd's 2nd ... making it more like the 5 spd 2nd gear. Usually we have to shift into 3rd quite a bit. At the last event I only barely hit the rev limiter in 2nd on Saturday coming out of the up-hill corner in the north west.

That's two of whatever, correct ... counting legs. I think I would go AWOL if I found one of those things ... or ... I'd get in trouble for using a hand grenade ... but maybe it's acceptable to use relatively large armaments in the face of those disgusting creatures. I've got even more respect for o...

Opinions? Linear or Digressive Valving on a Stock Class car

I've been asking around. Lots of different opinions. Some feel that Digressive valving takes away from the Shock aiding the soft stock springs. Others feel that, especially with an extra rebuild or two to fine tune the slow to fast damping, the Digressive Valving will be better, especially on bumpy ...

Re: How do you determine if a Miata has the Sport package?

Going to the taller 225 tires has helped with the 6 spd ... in fact maybe that's not a bad set-up. Didn't Bill go to the 6 spd when he got the new 275's? We actually like having the excess weight excuse.

Ashley ... do you have a car with an Automatic to practice left foot braking on the streets. It's difficult to practice left foot braking with a manual in an urban environment. And with everything else going on, it's difficult to practice left foot braking while AX'ing. Expect to hit the clutch inst...
