It doesnt prevent you from earning champsionship points. A driver may take an average for a single event per year to coach in the first session.

Re: Tire pumps tested. Harbor freight is a winner
seems like you could deflate it and try for 35 psi, or however much it will do in 10 min, since they all seem to be able to handle that.

As long as it's a full sized suction mount I'm sure it's fine. This rule was probably from pre gopro days.

Thank you for a great August Course
Thank you, Christine, Tom, et al. For designing and setting up a very interesting and fun course.
I was especially fond of the long left before the pin turn right into the finish. Effective cone placement requiring looking well ahead to remain on line and at the proper aggression.

Need a map to get started? Here is a blank course at AAA. The pink dots are areas we try to avoid due to pavement breakup or bumps.

While not a sound violation, it would be an unsportsmanlike violation.Mike Simanyi wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2019 12:48 pm I'll add that lifting at the meter doesn't quiet your car for the remaining 99%+ of the course, so if your car actually *is* too loud you could easily be the guy getting us kicked out from the venue.

Howard....your Z06 won't be a problem. If your buddy's car is a problem, we'll do what we can to resolve the issue (but I can't imagine any Corvette being all that loud unless highly modified). The rules outlined here are inline with National level events, and they aren't typically kicking cars out...

The measurement will be taken at a point where the vehicle can reasonably be expected to be under load at full throttle. The measuring point will be 50 feet from the edge of the course using an ANSI Type 2 sound meter set to “A” weighting, “Slow” response. The microphone will be 3 to 4 feet above g...

Keep in mind most trailer couple locks are terrible. Something like this works better. https://www.provenlocks.com/collections/2-5-16-tailer-coupler-locks But not with the lock that comes with it becuase it can be subject to drilling attacks. There are better steel bodied locks without the issue. Ot...

Megasquirt has traction control built in to the programming... so, included in the price of an ecu you could solider together if you were looking to save money. And if there were newer cars in c prepared with abs...
Now, full stability control... that would be nuts. Agreed.
