Is that the front lower arm? Upper arm? And was it the fore or aft attachment point? Can't tell from the pic.
A really odd failure!

Congrats, Max! I'll put a box of tissues and a quart of ice cream in Shaun's office.
Maybe Shaun can co-drive with me at Nats next year. Katy's got first dibs, but if she decides not to go...

Dec. autocross...hardship, resolve, tenacity!
A big thanks to all who ran the event. Considering the Berry Evo's throwing big chunks of rear diff and oil on the track, the timing light crisis, the Bjoin-mobile breaking a tie rod, etc., it was a fantastic event that finished while there was still daylight. To everyone in the timing trailer....wa...

Way to step up and take on the huge job, Mike! Event ran great, considering the added complexity of the ladies school, etc.

For ST classes, looks like it's slightly more favorable for STR and STX, less favorable for STS and the same for those pesky ST(C) Civics!

Are they covered in grease? A spring cleaning will fix that.
Re: Katianna
I don't think the accident was Katianna's fault...it was too much positive camber on the right rear!!!
Glad she's okay and on the mend. All the good vibes from CalClubbers will certainly speed the recovery.

Re: Isle of Man TT..........Insanity
Been watching the Isle of Man TT races on TV and video for years One day I'll be there for the races. Its on the list with LeMans, Indy, and the Monaco GP. And don't anyone bother posting the video of the Subaru driver getting a little sideways during a demo lap at the Isle of Man. It just doesn't ...

Thanks, John. You're right about it making the visual inspection easier. And they were covered with anti-squeal goo that attracted dirt, so they really needed a good cleaning.

So I thought I'd hand out Halloween candy and go through the Miata's front brakes more or less simultaneously.(Lots of kids carrying around slightly greasy packets of "Fun Size" Skittles!) http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg307/ex914/IMG_1156.jpg I'm not really a painted caliper type of ...

Re: Fortune Auto Coilovers???
It really depends on how serious you want to be, what your aspirations/expectations are, and how much you want to spend. Back when I had my MR2 (Mike Wood's car now), I had a set of BC Racing coilovers (Japanese-made, I think) that I bought for about $1000 total that worked wonderfully with 6K sprin...

Hey, Steve, good luck with the sale!
A beautiful car. One of the best colors ever for the Miata.
So what's on the short list for auto-x replacements?

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
Classing gurus,
What class would a 2011 Shelby GT500 fit into? I'm asking on behalf of a friend. Car is stock on orig. tires, so he'd probably go the SK1 route.
Thanks!
