Re: CHP Ticket help/advice needed

Thanks everybody. I'll take a look at ticketassassin too. Christine, I wasn't in the 2 right lanes, maybe the 3rd from the right? It also depends on if you count the merging lane in that count. It was also night time and on parts of the journey, it was drizzling very lightly. I just remember that th...

Re: CHP Ticket help/advice needed

if you decide to go with the TWD route, let me know. I have a pretty well set up template now that takes me about an hour to plug in info, and end up with a 7-10 page report that will generally make anything the cop writes, look like something on elementary paper written with crayons. SO FAR, it's ...

Traffic school is one option. It just seems silly to use traffic school for something like this.

Trailer towing guidelines

Given the distance that we typically travel in the LA area to get to/from events, driving at the posted 55 adds a lot of time. I'd like to hear what some of you find as a practical compromise if you are towing a 4x4 or 4x8 Harbor Freight type trailer. Any tips/tricks/strategies/places to avoid etc w...

CHP Ticket help/advice needed

A few weeks ago, I picked up a trailer in San Diego that I had just bought (4x8 Harbor Freight) and was on my way home when I got a ticket on the I5 NB. This was near Katella and I was doing about 60-65 and most traffic was passing me. I was not in the left lane, but was towards the left side as I f...

Lost - reading glasses at Friday practice

My friend Marty was riding in several vehicles on Friday. At some point during the day, he lost his reading glasses. He thinks it may be in one of the T1 Vettes, but is not absolutely sure. He was the fellow with the British accent. If he rode in your car, would you please take a look around your ca...

Re: "Free" web site offer questions.

Bob, A lot depends on what you 'need'. They haven't specified what 6 months of search engine positioning means? How often are they working on this for you? How are the keywords determined? Are they adjusting the keywords over time? Do they guarantee any particular placement and lots of other details...

A friend of mine has a Ford Explorer that needs service (routine maintenance) and is looking for a mechanic in the Thousand Oaks area. Does anybody have any recommendations?

TIA.

We are packed and ready to go in case the fire heads down our way. Last night, they were evacuating almost directly north of us on the 118.

Jason and i took Tom's advice and changed our plans so that we would arrive in time for the Sunday practice, even though we didn't race until Thu/Fri. I'm glad that we did arrive early. We have tons of photos to show for it and a great chance to just hang out - something that we don't usually have a...

Re: Irvine Area Mechanic?

Kurt,

Our Honda mechanic is down in the Buena Park area and has experience building Honda motors. He specializes in the EF. I'm happy with our motor  . Together with Jason's setup, it carried us to a trophy in STS on our first trip to Nationals.

Yeah. I moved from Upstate. A big difference from NYC. We are about 7.5 hr from NYC. WNY and FLR (already mentioned) have pretty good events. I would imagine the NYC area should have some good events too, but I have no experience down there. Sorry. Bill, if you head up to Upstate for an event, I can...

I'm fairly new to California, so this is a topic of interest to me as I'm not sure that I would know how to respond correctly in the event of an earthquake. I just found out that an earthquake drill for California is being planned in November. If this is of interest to you, please check out http://w...
