With the addition of "Road Tire" index as a supplemental class for 2012, can we now use the national RT designation in place of our regional SK?

Actually, I'm trying to not have to buy too many.

I think the bigger question is do we change our SK classes to match the drivetrain separation of the national classes? I think to use the same letters, the classes would need to be the same.

I don't see those changes happening now that the year has already started, but what do I know?

At this point, my understanding is the RT classes are supplemental and could be nixed if enough people don't show for national events this year.

All this RT stuff does seem to be coming at the last minute, but the announcement posted that RT is being added as a supplemental to Nationals gives a valid reason to change.

I'm just figuring out how much alphabet soup I need to buy to get through the year.

I'm tired of all this class stuff. I vote for 1 class, no indexing, run what you brung, winner take all. Leave it to the course designers to come up with something that favors no particular car

Rick, as long as we have to drive it to the event, I'm all for it!

Stick with SK. RT is supplemental and subject to change.

Thanks to all for the input.

I think I have everything but the K, so this weekend's classing might have a bit of a ransom note feel to it...
