Newcomer here, please help!

Post by Richard Rios »

Firstly, hello everyone, my name is Richard Rios and I drive a 2014 BRZ. I'm brand new to this scene and wanted to say hello to the community! I hope I can become a great part of this forum and meet new people!

Secondly, I'll need help with classifying my car. Mod list below;
-Inejn CAI
-Injen Catless EL Header
-Injen Catless front pipe
-Running e85 with OFT
-17x9 Ambit RE02 wheels with Federal SS-595
-Tein Coilovers

Also another question, my windshield has a pretty big crack, would this pass tech??

Thank you for your time and help!

1) Can you post a photo of the crack?

2) there is a class called, "California Street Touring" (CST) and is a catch-all class for cars with 200tw tires. It's a great place to start and from there you can learn more about the sport and which class sounds like fun.

For national level classing you would likely be in C-Street Prepared (CSP)

Here is a picture of the crack, it’s quite large but I don’t believe it’s any danger, just a shallow surface crack

Doesnt seem like it would imped your view. Cheap price auto glass in gardena might have a used one they can swap in. Give em a call +1 310-719-1000. They also happen to be next to one of the best autocross/race alignment shops in California, westend alignment.

If you still have the mid-pipe cat and swap your ecu tune to pump gas you should be able to run in STX. CST is always an option as it is our "run what you brung" class.
