The June event is the rollout weekend, what else do we need to add to the list of things to be done?
So far the things completed are;
1. The cart was dropped off at the shop of Kimball Williams, http://home.earthlink.net/~dlw_sculptor/kwracing.html
the cadet seat for Samuel is now in place, a short list of repairs has been completed and the cart is running at the touch of a button.
2. Samuel has both a SCCA number and a points card. PSCC has a new member, 858.
3. Safety gear acquired includes a helmet, chest/rib protector and driving suit.
4. The battery is on the charger.
5. The FJB restrictor is in place.

Seat is pretty far forward. Could make handling pretty loose. Add any weight to the top back of the seat to help.
Do you know weight? And F/R percentage?

Re: First time FJB cart driver, what should be on the check
Looks like the actual seat is inside the mounted seat in the pic. So hopefully the kart shop mounted the new seat farther back using pedal extenders.
Foam neck pad, safety wire all critical fasteners, gas overflow container for carb, heat wrap upper exhaust. Also may want to mount a shut off switch on the steering wheel. Most of us have Eric Nelson at seventhgear.com go through our karts. We can check it over at the event if you like.
Should be fun!
