Hello Everyone,
I am brand new to the sport. I did a practice last month at Fontana and my first championship at El Toro on 3/20.
I have a 2010 PHRT and just installed a new set of tires. I'm running C Street and I would like to improve the camber as much as I can.
I live in Manhattan Beach and I very much like 1) advice on how the camber setting for the car (I'm going to be using the car for cancer fundraising, so I expect many novices will be driving it along with myself, 2) a mechanic or shop I can work with to get the settings correct.
Thanks in advance!
Robert

The car is very soft from the factory, but can be upgraded within the Street class rules to somewhat mitigate that.
For a CS MX5, the formula for improvement is pretty well know.
You'll want a set of these shocks which will have the added benefit of lowering the car one inch and getting you more camber.

Also, you'll want an adjustable rear sway bar (something like this)

You will not believe how much better the car will feel with those two changes.
Of course, you will need to redo the alignment afterwards.
