What class is my car in?

Post by Scott Lee »

Hi All,
I plan to start autocrossing my 1997 Miata this year. Based on what I found in the class guide, my car is in E Street Class. However I do have some mods on my car:
1. Coilovers
2. Sway bars
3. Falken Azenis 615k

The car is stock other than those. Which class is my car in? Thanks in advance for the help!!

Two Choices in my opinion.
CST, run what you brung on 200 TW tires

or

STS

I see. I just remembered that the tires are plus sizes (195/65/14) and I also have a catback exhaust..i assume that will change my classing? Thanks!!

Those two changes are just fine for either CST or STS.
