Minor Waver and bring a guest to the Pro at Fontana?

We are attending the Pro this weekend and Samuel would like to invite a guest who will not be a participant. Can we bring the guest and his minor waver, signed by his parents, and get in to the event?

Jessica, help?

Thank you.

David

I had found that, my question would be can "I" be the witness?

Hi David, you could be...

As I understand it, Both parents must be present ON SITE... and witnessed by a SCCA member

or signed Offsite, and Notarized.

Again, that is my understanding...

Offsite/Onsite is irrelevant. David is okay as an SCCA Official.
Under 12 Waivers not needed. Can't go into grid area.
12 or over no waiver needed if not going to hot area.
If you want to go into hot area like between the lanes at a pro, then both parents sign in front of David and we need them to get a weekend temporary membership.

"Mom and Dad" will not be on site to purchase/sign the weekend temporary membership, any workaround/offsite purchase?

I don't even know what that form looks like? He's not driving. Don't we have free temps for passengers and such? The whole requirement for having a membership is new to me just for being in a hot area. We don't do that for adults.

I think we are missing the issue.

I don't think a minor spectator can be in a hot area. I think you need to be a driver, passenger, or worker. Otherwise, you have to stay in the spectator areas or paddock. Impound for junior karts would be okay.

My take is that no waiver is necessary. But he won't be able to come up with us between the lanes or in grid getting ready.
