Taken by Carl Vanderschuit at the last Porsche Club DE, watch closely the 944 Turbo he is following.....yes, these cars run nose-to-tail and have open passing at Qualcomm!!

Hey!

You're driving a Ford Escort GT now?

Does it have the active suspension package?

Guilty! Getting a bit better mpg's, digging the cold A/C and awesome cruise control.... :)

I think it actually does have rear steering.....the hydraulics and subs are awaiting install

What made you pick the 91 over the 94?
I learned to drive on a 94 GT.

It was $1700, had a rebuilt engine, cold A/C, cruise, and a really really nice interior....oh, and it was $1700. Year had nothing to do with it :D Daily driver anyway, autocross-specific was very low down the list. Better than a Daihatsu Charade or Geo Metro, I'd gather.

There's no potential, anyways ;)

Michael, you should have driven mine before it was retired!

'94s have the revised long-nose crank as opposed to the failure-prone short-nose ones. Other than that they were identical, mechanically.
