Wendover ProSolo-- Who is going?

Post by James Wilson »

Tyson Newman and I are running in H-Stock at the Wendover ProSolo, we need to find 3 other drivers to make a full class....who's up for it?

I see a few other locals going as well (Uyeda, Ekstrand, etc.), let's make the caravan up!

PS-- I just tried to Register Online at the SCCA.com site and it gave me an error, so I had to fax in my entry form after giving them a call. Nancy is back in the office tomorrow if you have any problems.

I doubt if we'll go. We're planning on Packwood now so we can meet up with David and Julie.

At Wendover, our new trailer would probably blow over.

I've never been, so Shauna and I are going with Mihai.
I hear it's hot and windy and salty, but it's fast!

Max, Aaron and I are likely going :D

I've always had fun in Wendover, but it can get crazy hot - it's a very dry, dry heat though.

My attendance depends on work, but it's likely.

Two A/C units. And a furnace. Probably won't need the furnace. :)

How do you keep it from blowing over? This thing is like 13' tall.

Bah... turn 'em off in your Control Panel!

Everything loads faster and you don't have to view Max's car in every post. :P

If Aaron can't make it, or even if he does, he could ride with us.

1st weekend of August. 1-3. You'lld probably need to take Thursday, Friday and Monday off of work. Long ass drive but it would probably be in Paul's motorhome. If you're lucky the kids will stay at home...

You've had your shots right? Jaime, his youngest, had that infection recently, but it cleared up...mostly.

In 2006 I left the OC at 5:00am and was there in time to register, and could have done practice starts. Now that was driving the car up and not towing, but we did not even run fast, the RX-8 sucks enough fuel going around the speed limit.

Schenk and I left early and did practice starts. We did hit a buck twenty in selected spots. I probably won't do that fast with the Gearbox..... But we had to suffer through Bill's missing the turnoff and heading to St. George.

In '05 we left at 9am and got there at 7pm. Forgot about the time change in the middle of Wendover, and we took a wrong turn in Ely that cost us 40 minutes. So it should have taken us roughly 8.5 hrs to get there.
