That's not what that cone said!

It was nice for the rest of us to see Karl, though.

The cones in that corner looked a bit lonely, so I thought I'd go say hello... twice...

Hey guys !!!

it was awesome seeing you again this weekend. Memories memories ...

Thanks for that pic, Mako !! That was during my 2nd run, I late braked into that corner, right through the dip, and the steering wheel got completely away from me (no power steering, bumpy track = YIKES).

Sorry, cones !!!

I had a blast this weekend. Thanks CASOC for the event.

Oh, and P.S.: just like in racing along in the deserts of Lebanon, you don't need to have the wipers on...

Maybe they want to sponsor the parking lot like AAA did the inside track and drag strip.

According to someone that talked to the Farmer, he was there watching a friend, who also road races and AX's in SD. When asked if he was collecting info to cancel policy's, he said "No." He declined to take a run in the Company Car. We should have given him a ride with someone smooth and slow.

That was me, I talked to him, he seemed OK.
Not sure why the laptop had to be up and running though.

He was there with me, friends since childhood. He lives pretty far from me so he drove a separate car and we met up at the track. It was either bring the company car or his LS1 powered pickup for the long, expensive, gas consuming, drive. We were using his laptop docking station to take the videos off the SD card from the camera that was in my car so we could take more videos. You don't have anything to worry about from him. I'm trying to talk him into bringing the truck out next time.

Here are my pics: http://www.beesandgoats.com/images/5_25_autox/
And 1 of my videos (exucse the expletive at 21 seconds in): http://www.beesandgoats.com/images/5_25 ... _run3a.wmv

Hey! Who is spying on who here! If you were gonna take a pic of me you could have at least gotten my good side.

That was me in the car and i've done my fair share of racing as well, just wasn't out there on the track on sunday. As to the laptop, I have wireless internet so after I pulled all of the vids off the SD card during the DS class runs, I saved them to the laptop to upload at home and since no more volunteers were needed (I offered) for the final run group, I pulled my car up to the cone boundary and kicked back in a comfy seat and alternated between watching runs and playing around on the internet :computer: . I knew the car would freak some people out, but at least I didn't let the }:) in me come out and screw with people by walking around with a clipboard through the pits frantically scribbling notes or something, I figured getting jumped and summarily beaten with cones by angry autocrossers would be low on my list of things to do that weekend.

I'll try to get out next time in my truck if time permits instead of the company car (i prefer to think of it as a sponsorship  ) but unfortunately, the mods to my truck will put me in Street Modified so I will proceed to have my ass handed to me.

Thanks for chiming in Kurtis.... Relief!!!

Even its not competitive, autocrossing a hot rod truck can be a lot of fun. I loved watching the corner workers scramble backward every lap I ran in my V8 Dakota Club cab.
