Suspension shop advice for Ford Focus?

Post by Steve Collins »

A co-worker wants to get some performance suspension work done on her Ford Focus.
Somewhere near Pasadena would probably be groovy.
It is a Ford Focus 2005, need to install Racing camber plates set to -2.5
and I need a rear sway bar installed. I need my alighment set to 1/16 toe in
the front and 0 toe in the rear with max camber at all four wheels.
Thanks,

Steve Collins

Don't know a place.

But does she really want 1/16" toe in on the front?

How about Art Rinner's Z shop in Glendale. They do non-Z stuff some times, and I know he can do FWD suspensions.

Toe out is the norm for a FWD.

+1 for Art's shop. Sorry for forgetting about it.

++ for Art's

Does she really want a REAR sway bar, ie. stock = only front bar ... if she's going to come play with us.

If she's installing camber plates she's not going to be in stock so a rear bar is a possibility.

Art's good, if he's not avaliable the guy that did George's engine in his Honda does that type of work also. Jimmy Jue, JueMotors 678 San Bernardino Rd., Covina 626-926-4908. He also has an alignment machine, one stop shopping.

:thumbup:
She's taking the car to Art Rinner. She's apparently setting it up as some kind of track-day M3 killer. Thanks for the advice gang.
