Looking for Co-driver for Nationals

Post by Bill Schenker »

Chris, my co-driver for this year is not going w/me to Topeka, so I'm looking for a co-driver for just Nationals (I won't be doing the Finale).

If the schedule remains the same, I'd be driving out to Topeka Sunday afternoon, the 14th, after our regional event in Fontucky. Arrive Tues. afternoon, walk course/register/tech. Wed., race Thur/Fri., drive back Sat., get home late Sun. or early Mon.

If interested, please contact me for more details.

(And yes, I realize all you Monkeys are going to have your little fun with this - start your own thread in OT and have @ it!)

And I'll do Bill a favor by offering his co-driver a (separate) bed at the Hotel Avard in Topeka.

So, spooning is strictly optional?

Bill's last two Nationals co-drivers did quite well.

You might check with Greg Peng, Bill. I hear he might be looking for a ride. With him on the team, your car just might win another national championship. }:) }:) }:)

Same deal as last year, Bill. Tofu if you win, Soy Cap if Mike wins...

...and I REALLY don't wanna eat the Tofu, but I will happily do so if you win :barf:

Geez Randy, go easy on the guy. We don't need him so paranoid he sets up a second set of parameters in the ECU so I'm stuck with a 5k redline.

By the way, if you know anyone with a 6-speed Miata transmission I can buy, please let me know who to contact.

Isn't Mr. Berry Bill's defacto transmission supplier?

I am very likely wrong, but I think there is a trans already sitting at their house waiting for Bill to call for it. (and a diff ;)) It could be a 5speed though....and it could already be gone.

I e-mailed Tom this morning but he hasn't replied yet.

I hope he has or can get a 6-speed for us.
