Where are they now?

Post by Larry Frankenstein »

Hi all,

Old guy here. Was cruising around looking for some parts and ended up here. Left a smart azz message for Renee and was sad to hear about Craig. Craig & Renee were very helpful in getting me going in Solo 1, which got me road racing and off road racing . . .

Saw some names I recognize, Joanne Lynch, Rick Brown, the Jardines – long time kids . . . How’s y’all doing?

Some names I am recalling that I haven’t seen, in no particular order, and advanced apologies to anyone I don’t mention – it’s been a long time ya know.
From Guldstrand Racing; Grany Byers, Dick Takashima, Navis Olson, Brian Chemilewski(sp), Gerald Lum.
From other clubs; Tracy Cook & Ron Hasse, Larry Pearson, Leonard Baptiste, Greg Abbott, Paul Horkin, Larry Lim, the lady who sold hot dogs, Rod Bean, Herb Berkman, John Ward

‘nuff for now, it’s my night.

Stay thirsty my friends,
L

Hey Larry, thanks for the stroll down amnesia lane!

A few of those names are no longer with us, including Tak, Herb Berkman, and my dad.

Rod Bean is still around but rarely runs with us.

Leonard Baptiste, Brian C, Navis and Gerald all still come out.

John Ward posts on here occassionally.

Post some pics of the 850 when you get a chance. It's always fun to see what people are doing!

I've seen Rod Bean instructing track days at Willow Springs. Not too recent, but a couple of years ago when I was going up with the Mopar guys.

It`s a shame a few are gone now. Grant Byers, John Clark, Herb Berkman, Tak, Graig,...............As long as your name and mine aren`t on the list.
