Thanksgiving Weekend Event Master needed

Post by KJ Christopher »

We need an Event Master. We need the other chiefs too, but I believe the EM should have some say on who does what. (Feel free to offer here though)

Somebody want to volunteer? Should be a relatively easy event.

Edited to remind that this guarantees entry into the practice (for free) and gets you a 100% discount on Sunday timed runs. :D

Would they need to be present Saturday for the Ladies school as well, or just Fri/Sun, Practice/Champ.

Only Friday and Sunday. Saturday will run separately with Lisa as EM.

I'd like to point out that this is an E-board event, so the Event Master receives a free entry to both the practice and Autocross Sunday.

Who wants to drive for free?

I'm already Gate Chief for Saturday. I can be Gate Chief for Friday and Sunday as long as I'm IN those events. Since I'm not able to shag cones, it's likely I'd be working the Gate anyway. Just let me know.

Thanks Michael.

We still need an SSS and Youth Steward (if we are going to run Jr. Karts) in order to get the sanction.

Ed, that's the easiest way to get in: volunteer for a core position.

Can we count you in for all three days?

I'm in!!
But just to clarify, I wasn't saying "I'll do it if you let me in". I was saying I wouldn't want to volunteer if I wasn't going to be there anyway. I plan on entering both Friday Practice AND Sunday Champ. Sharon plans on attending the Saturday School. She's already sent the check in. I think we're all set except for what you guys are working on.

A bit different. Ed had already volunteered for Saturday too, so we're just making sure we're covered all weekend with him. Your EM job is only Friday and Sunday.

Thanks Tom. We're covered for the weekend. BTW, if you're still official, it should list it on your SCCA card.
