CSCC Solo year-end battles....

Post by Will Kalman »

I know that Max and Shaun have an amazingly small margin in STR - great to see co-drivers going to the wire like that!

What other classes are the ones to watch?

Just to be clear on the Max/Shaun Battle...

Per Christine :

A. If Shaun wins the last event, then you need to earn 99.486 points to win for the year. That is pretty much the same as the last event's results when you only lost by .078 seconds.
B. If neither of you show up for the last event, then Shaun wins by 1.509
C. If Shaun doesnt even show up to the last event (gets 0 points) or earns less that his current 3rd lowest score (96.252) Then you still have to earn at least 96.027 points to win the year.

Poor boy, has to win to win. Would you rather have your jacket delivered to you while you sit on your couch in your Depends eating Pablum?

Since I'm the car owner, he should let me win, dammit!!!

Plus, I told my girlfriend I was brilliant, so she is kind of expecting it!

She looks like a smart girl, Max - I'm sure she has you figured out. And if you don't win, you can always look forward to Pity Sex.

Those are awesome, and when he is crying and apologizing after a passionate 3 seconds it will be appropriate for once.

Not necessarily. If I don't lose by more than 0.3 and Shaun loses by more!

And yes Ed, it's a NC Miata and thus far more manly than say a NA or NB ;)

Those drops can be pesky. I lost a season down in S.D. to a class competitor that way. Two events he didn't show up to, an outsider showed up, and trounced me. Unfortunately I missed enough events, I had to use the points from my trouncing. I won EVERY other event I attended, and as such beat him at every event we were both at.

He won only two events all year... ones I missed. So never beating me at a single event... he won the season, because I lost badly at two events he missed, and he won at two events I missed.

PAX is separated by a little over a point between Tom and Toby. That should make an interesting battle for round 13!
And me? I'm only down by 85 points. I can catch up! :D

Can the words Mita and manly be used in the same sentance? Sort of an Oxymorn isn't it?
