Post by Jeremy Cottrell »

Are 15 inch wheels legal for ES / SK2 NA Miatas since they were available on the M models?

I think you can only use the wheels if your car is the same year and has all the same features and trim.

And THAT's only for 95-96. And as an "M", they would be either BBS (95) or Enkei (96). In 97, the "M" is a 6-spoke vs. 5-spoke and, a new "Special Touring Option" package was introduced in which the wheel was 15" Enkei.

Though to be clear, you can use any wheels you'd like that are the same size (diameter and width) as the stock wheels for your model. You can also use any tires you'd like that you are able to fit onto those wheels.

Edit: And what Max said about offset!
Edit: And what Eric added.

*man, this Jeff Stuart guy is such a noob*

Do not forget, they must also be the same offset +/- ~5mm

Eric, did you choose pink as a highlighter because Max and I drive Miatas? Why don't you just come out and say it. :heyes:

I have a set of 15" Miata wheels, and a set of 14" Revolutions (one of the lightest 14x5.5" wheels available) for sale if your looking for a second set of rims for your car.
