Low-profile helmets
Has anyone investigated helmets that have a thinner shell than most, to help with limited headroom? As far forward as I usually sit, I sometimes run against the roof as it slopes down to meet the windshield.

Re: Low-profile helmets
I have a very low roof so I needed a low profile helmet.John Stimson wrote:Has anyone investigated helmets that have a thinner shell than most, to help with limited headroom? As far forward as I usually sit, I sometimes run against the roof as it slopes down to meet the windshield.
I love my Arai JP-JET/F http://www.araiamericas.com/#/helmets/auto/gp-jet-f
I took off the air vent covers on the top so it would not rub on any head liners. The visibility is great and the weight is nice too. The construction is very nice. The only thing that would prevent you from loving it is the price.
