Anywhere that still sells toluene at a reasonable price

Post by Alan Yu »

The cost of toluene has increase even faster then pump gas. I called a few local stores and the cost per gallon was 11 to 16 dollars a gallon. For the better days 5 gallons use to cost $20.

If you need more octane, 100 octane pump gas is a better bet even at about $8 a gallon. if you need a solvent, there are others.

Last time I looked at Toluene, it was $3.00/gallon if I bought it in a 55gal/drum. Race gas at the time was $5.50/gal for 100 no lead at willow springs. Ever since I quit driving the Omni, all my high octane needs went out teh window.
