Solo2 cars you admire

Post by Alex Sanchez »

Now that we have this great function where we can add pics to our threads, I thought it would be a good time to discuss what cars you admire.

Although I don't see these cars too often, I have a great sense of fondness when I do:

John Williams 240Z: loud muffler, loud brakes, and it's carborn-fiber jewelry
John Fendel 68 Mustang: The nicest example of shiny wheels on a Mustang in that OG mixed matched style.
Mike Nakata's Supra: Finest example of it's breed.
Jason Uyeda: Awsome ITB's on an S2K.
Doug Teulie VW Scirocco: The paint on the inside is nicer that the paint on the outside of some people's car; including my own.
John Edwards 850 Fiat Sedan: So cute, Sooo cute!
And those Ferrari 360's: The full-throttle sound is like porn for my ears!

Am I the only one who comes to the events to see these cars as well as to compete?

That's it for now..
"Find your happy place..drifting will take you there."

Chris O'Donnell's DM Lotus Elan. Chris was visiting with Keisel Saturday, brought back all the memories of the greatest autocross car ever.

The old days of Tom Berry thrashing the RX-3 or Grivas launching it on to two wheels.

The Larsenmobile.

Mark Huffman's Elan.

And of course Keisel's Kermit.

More.... I loved Puertas clean E30 M3
Stagnaro's CP GT350 is a dream
OBlenes RX7 was incredible
Watching James Gunn Wilkerson pull the front wheels out of tight turns in the GT2 made me feel sorry for Tom Berry.

Good topic!

I like all the cars you mentioned here are a couple I didn't see yet.

Mike Maier's various Mustangs.
Jesus Villareal's Europa (any europa)
Guy Ankney's CP Camaro
Actually now that I think about it, pretty much any car at an Atwater AAX event ;)

Another car I loved and considered ways to buy years ago...

The tri point FP BMW that Chris Cox bought and ran for a couple of years till he got the GT3.

I admire 1 of Taka Aono's ex-Solo2 Corollas...

And you'd think the 2003 CSCC STS Champion (2.5RS) would stop running this damn car into things...

You know jason, a couple mods to the Evo and buy a Mazdaspeed Miata and you would have every kind of car that won a trophy at nationals in BSP last year :D

Actually, taking a second look, if you bought a Mazdaspeed miata and you would have every type of car that ran in BSP at nationals last year
