So, I'm trying to figure out what to do for 2014. Ive gotten the car quiet enough (new downpipe and catback) to come run with you guys, but the dilemma I have is the class my car is built for doesn't exist in your region. Car is built to be a fairly competitive SMF car. I'm not really feeling driving to San Diego just to go run, but I also really don't wanna pay to run by myself. I guess this means in a way I dont need to drop $850 for another set of R Comps for next year -prolly just get some 'Kook RS-3's since there's so many cheap track days, but I'm at a loss as to what other classes are out there to run in that I would be competitive in, having a modded front wheel drive car. And no, I do not want to demod the car just to go autoX.


What advice can you guys give me? I've never lived anywhere that didnt have SMF, heh.

Ca Street Touring (CST) ... run what you brung, on street tires ... very large FUN class ... check our results

I see a California Street Touring.. and i see some other FWD cars in street mod..... hrm.

we have classes for all national classes, SMF included. We just might not have anyone local that is actually competing in SMF. By all means bring your car out and join us, no demoding necessary.

Yea.. leaning towards a set of RS-3's for tires, since I could track day on them as well.. and to get away from the insanity that was R comps.... Is the january event i saw points for next year or not? May come out and run SMF just to see what this region is like and see where it will best fit for next year...
