Spare bed in San Diego for the Tour

Post by Max Hayter »

Anyone have a spare bed or roll-away available for the Tour - my room fell through!

Thanks.

Max: We're staying at the La Quinta Poway. It's about 10-15 minutes up the 15 from Qualcomm. We don't really have extra room or bed, but we just made the reservation a couple days ago @ about $75 per night.

Not this year at that price, and when we did get a room, it only had one bed and the hotel refused to change to two beds or put a rollaway in. Hence, I need another room

Not that cheap in SD... Median price for a 3* NOT near the coast is $153, meaning you're going to need at least $80/$90 bid to get a room probably.

Would only take you an hour to drive home. Think how happy the Mrs would be - unless she was looking forward to a weekend without you.

Same thing happened to us, $75, 3 star priceline, Best Western Hotel Circle.

Good on ya! I'll buy breafkfast. You'll like it, it's very "continental". BTW, there are LOTS of restaurants, etc. within a mile or so further north from the La Quinta, opposite side of the freeway.
