2015 Solo Nationals

Post by Craig Naylor »

Interesting email today

Street and Street Touring classes have blossomed under the new program. Drivers already entered in Street classes, which includes Super Street R, are 419 strong, up from 351 from 2014. The story is similar in the Street Touring® Category, which boasts 272 participants, an increase from the 242 last year.

All totaled, street tire classes account for 52 percent of the 2015 entries.

For all the naysayers over going to street tires, it appears (old)Stock/(new)Street has not been killed by the tire change. Now the other comment about record participation due to the change probably has more to do with coming out of a recession as it does the tire change.
