For those that use Google's calendar functionality, you can add the Cal Club Autocross calendar to your calendar:

Go to the calendar page on our Solo2.com website: https://www.solo2.com/calendar

At the lower right of the calendar is a little "+ Google Calendar" link.

Click that link and the Cal Club SCCA Autocross events will all automatically display as part of your google calendar!

Hello!

Can't we use Fontana during those months? If el toro is not available, shouldn't we secure dates at Fontana? I can't schedule family time. Maybe less autox this year.

Thanks

OK, let's see if this helps. With the loss of El Toro, we are scrambling a bit.

March 23-24 @ ACS is confirmed
May 4-5 @ ACS is confirmed

these are the other dates we are planning for, but since we don't have a contract, the dates are subject to change.

? June 1-2
? July 6-7
? August 10-11
? September 21-22
? October 12-13
? November 9-10

Hope this helps you with your planning.

Thanks Stephen! Looking forward to moderate temperatures at ACS in spring.
Hopefully we find a venue that's not too hot in the summer. My Bolt was dropping into limp mode mid-run at El Toro.

Stephen,

During the Board call on Tuesday you said there was no event on March 23-24?

Please advise.

Hi Brian,

Thank you for checking Brian, there will be a 3/23-24 event. There are conflicts with National events in April and this is one of the only dates available to hold an event.

Can someone who is able update the original post to this thread with the latest information so it's in one place?

It looks like the Google Calendar has already been updated, which is excellent (link is in the 2nd post on this thread, for those unaware)

The Porsche is using El Toro and is running over a hundred cars, about what we are running now.
Can we look at booking some dates this year?

POC is supposedly only doing one more event before moving to long beach. A few things have led to our decision not to use el toro.
1) An increase of $3000 over what we were paying last year for the weekend.
2) No availability of Friday setup
3) limited hours not to interfere with concerts
4) A $900 per hour fee if we operate later than 5pm

Any updates on the July 6-7th event? Is that one likely to lock in, or might it move to another date? Trying to make travel plans for the 4th of July accordingly...

The following dates have been reserved at Auto Club Speedway for the remainder of 2019.
The only month without a date at this time is October and another site is being sought for that month

June 1 & 2
July 6 & 7
August 24 & 25
September 14 & 15
October (OPEN)]
November 9 & 10
Nov/Dec 30 & 1

Hope this helps in your future planning for the year.
We are planning to have at least a 10 event schedule for 2020 out before the end of the year.
