Test and tune Registration question - 2 driver car

Post by Dan Shaw »

Hi all,

Been a while since I registered for a SoCal event, a friend of mine and I are going to share my car for a Test and Tune day. Need to know if we have to split the runs or if we can each sign up as an individual and do a full 12 runs.

Thank you!

Yes. You can do either:
Two Single entries—$80 each
Split Entry—$95 (two drivers sharing the same car, one set of ~12 runs, and one normal work assignment)
I believe if you share the car over two single entries, you run in different groups, there is no two driver line like Sundays.

Hey Dan,

No problem sharing the car and each getting a full set of runs. If you could let me know the other driver's name (PM here, or via the "question for the registrar" link on MSR), we can ensure you get put into complementary run groups that will allow you to share the car and ride with each other too. We can also handle on site at check in, but it helps us out if we can handle all our exceptions before hand (just to keep our groups balanced, etc.).

Your questions have been answered but I will add if you do the split practice, your co-driver also needs to register on msr as we do all scca weekend memberships through msr. There is a no cost co-drive option they can choose.
