Ok,
We got the approval to allow storage on site in Packwood for the two weeks between the Wendover Pro and the Packwood NT.
Exact details to follow; where to store, how much, etc.

Re: Truck/Trailer storage between Wendover and Packwood
As promised, the update.
$30 to store for the two weeks between Wendover and Packwood.
Storage location is just inside the main gate.
Enter through the gate, to the left is the guard shack. Sign-in.
Storage will be just past the guard building, between the high ceiling building and the fence
My crude picture...

Re: Truck/Trailer storage between Wendover and Packwood
It's a shame that they can't use the high ceiling building for storage. It's got to be tall enough to store anything freeway legal (<13.5').
How about the price for just the week between the two Packwood events, or is that gratis if you run both events?
Where do you park your tiny little trailer, Keith? I remember that there was some parking on the North side of the paddock building, but not how much. And there isn't enough space inside that building for trailers/motorhomes.
Is camping on-site allowed during the events? Someone thought that it wasn't when it was an active mill, but now that it's just storage, it might be OK. It would seem silly for someone like you, who brings there house with them, to have to either leave it for a motel, or load up and tow it to an RV park.

$20 to store your rig between the NT and Pro. The proceeds from the storage fees (and lot rental) are donated to a local charity.
the high ceiling building by the entrance is currently full of Lewis County Search and Rescue vehicles.
Yes, camping on site is allowed. But, no trailers or RV's are allowed in the Pacific building (paddock building) It's a bummer since that is where I park for local events, but there is not enough room for everyone to pit, and have RV's for the NT.
I will be parking on the west side of that building, in the area filled with small concrete blocks... there is more RV parking on the east side of the building, and overflow in the back 40 (but those folks will have to move after the NT since we use that area for Evo.

Packwood aerial view
So, the tall roof building is on the left edge in the middle, the Pacific (paddock) building is the big square at the top, to the left of the big pad, and RV parking is NW and NE of that building?

Correct. And the overflow RV parking is in the bottom right, where the little yellow squares are sitting( stacks of cured lumber)
I tend to think of hwy 12 running east west... not northeast/southwest
It looks like that shot was taken while we were running an event.
